The opening round in Dubai saw the team finish fifth and fourth respectively in the two races

The first weekend saw Racing Team India secure fifth and fourth-place finishes in Dubai, while both the four-hour races in Yas Marina saw the team ending the race in fifth place. The team’s maiden season did offer lots of learnings, especially with a steep learning curve. The team also managed to briefly lead the second Dubai race with the car wearing the Indian tri-colour. Drivers Karthikeyan and Maini showed incredible pace through the races, while Rao, with his IMSA Prototype Challenge brought some important experience and also showed immense improvement in the second round.
